I have heard much about cherry blossom festival in DC which is usually celebrated in the end of March every year. Last year I went to D.C for the first time with my cousin. We stayed there almost one day and visited many beautiful places, such as history museum, aircraft museum and art museum. After visiting the museums, we took a tour, got on the boat and went along the Potomac River to see cherry trees. At that day, there were many Japanese who came here to participate in many festival activities, such as a dance, art gallery, live show to order to introduce their national culture to everyone. When it was dark, we returned home. We stopped by fish port in DC to buy some seafood. The port was crowed and there are many vendor here. We bought a basket of crawfish which valued only $30 bucks. The price was much cheaper than regularly supermarket in Virginia. Our trip was fund and we knew more about American and Japanese culture.
